Track and Field Practices

Practice for track and field will be Tuesday and Thursday mornings after run club. (8:00)

Outdoor Ed. Club

Make sure to get your bike trip notes ASAP. We will be going to the Epinette Creek trail at Spruce Woods on May 26th.  I'm still looking for a parent who could pull a trailer for me. 

Family Fun Night

Family Fun Night is this Thursday, April 19th.  Come and geocache, disc golf, play tennis, mini-golf.  There will be a BBQ for supper. $5 for a hamburger supper and $4 for a hotdog supper.

Run Club

Run Club is in full swing. We have up to 30 people showing up on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:30 to run.  Notes will go home Tuesday morning about upcoming events.

I will be taking regular attenders of Run Club to an event called Jog in the Park.  It is organized by the Manitoba Marathon for schools particpating in the marathon.  Jog in the Park is on April 25th, so please get the notes back to me ASAP. On that note also indicate what your child is interested in doing at the marathon (if they want to go.)

Outdoor Ed. Club

• The hike was fun, please get a copy of your pictures to Mrs. May if you wish to enter the photo contest.
• Notes have been given out for the end of year camping trip on June 27 and 28th. Get the notes back quickly as spaces will fill up.
• I am planning a bike trip to the Epinette Creek trail at Spruce Woods on May 26th, notes will go home next week.

Bittersweet field trip

Grade 7/8 students will be going to Bittersweet ski trails tomorrow to cross-country ski and snowshoe. They need to pack a lunch and water. Please ensure the have appropriate clothing including winter boots.

Rick Hansen Relay

Don't forget about the festivities on Friday.  We held an assembly today to talk about what the relay is all about.  Ask your child who they feel are difference makers in our community.  If possible, please bring your child to the end of day celebration at the rink.  It will run from 3:00 until 3:30 and be followed with free public skating.  Check out rickhansenrelay.com for more information about the relay.
